A splendid book in blue cloth with black leather spine and corners with gilt on spine. 70 colour and 50 black and white plates, decorative end papers. A commemorative volume for the bicentenary of Cook's first voyage to the Pacific. A selection of the art from Cook's three voyages plus very interesting text. In its original slip case, which is also in excellent condition.
